I have been conducting psychological assessments since 2013 and have extensive experience in the assessment of individuals across the lifespan. In my professional capacity, I have personally conducted, and in my role as a supervisor have overseen, in excess of 2,000 psychological assessments. These assessments have included comprehensive clinical interviews, behavioural observations, collateral review, and the administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardised, psychometrically validated assessment instruments.

My assessment practice encompasses the evaluation of cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and functional capacity, as well as the impact of psychological conditions on an individual’s day-to-day functioning, decision-making, and capacity. I am experienced in integrating multiple sources of information into coherent, evidence-based formulations and in preparing structured written reported intended for third-party decision-makers, including courts, government agencies, and medical practitioners.

In forming my opinions, I apply recognised psychological principles and methodologies, informed by current research evidence and established professional standards, including the APS Code of Ethics and relevant practice guidelines. I exercise independent professional judgment and express my opinions within the limits of my expertise and the information available at the time of assessment.

I understand that my paramount duty in providing expert opinion is to the Court. I confirm that the opinions expressed are provided impartially, objectively, and without advocacy for any party. It is my professional opinion that my qualifications, training, and extensive experience in psychological assessment provide me with the requisite expertise to conduct psychological assessments and to offer opinions capable of assisting the Court in determining the matters before it.
